Catching up...

Yikes... I'm a bit embarrassed about how long it's been since I've updated.

A lot has happened!

I finally made my way to Denver (via train) right before Thanksgiving.

The train was alright. It was an experience.

Right before I left, Jon came for a few weekends to work. One of the weekends, we celebrated Laurie's birthday with a fondue dinner at Jason & Sarah's house. Such a fun night with the best of friends.

Last weekend, Brandon and Nicole Rozema came down from South Dakota for a quick visit. We walked around downtown Denver and enjoyed each other's company after not seeing them for so long!

Jon and I finally found some time to get outside and see the sites.

We found our way to Red Rocks, where there are some easy trails and a really neat amphitheater, where I've heard U2 has played.

In the distance is Denver.

Well, I've been really terrible at keeping this blog up to date, but I promise I will be better!

I've been really homesick the past couple of weeks, but I'm adjusting slowly.

Our goal is to get outside more and see the sites, so hopefully we'll be posting those experiences here!

And we're looking forward to going to Portland for the holidays!
