feeling domestic

i've been feeling rather domestic lately...
which is ironic, considering we technically don't have a place to call our own currently.
i've been doing a lot of knitting, but more on that later.

Baking seems to be where it's at.
I came across this recipe yesterday and decided we must try it.

Sarah indulged me and we made them. So very delicious.
I took them to work today and they disappeared before lunch!
I think they passed the test. Maybe we'll see them again at Thanksgiving.
Or next week.

Then, I decided I must make bread again. Last week's bread did not turn out. I was too impatient and the dough did not rise, making it a very solid loaf.
Make that 3 loaves.

This time, I just made one perfect loaf.

And finally, here are the results from a few MAX rides and some nights here and there spent knitting...

A few other projects made it into the gift bags before I could take photos.
I expect many more projects to come...
this is what happens when your husband is in another state.

Thank you for the sweet comments. I am excited to share more of my projects here... it seems that I always finish a knitted gift just in time and I forget to snap a photo of it.

... hmmmm chocolate anything sounds good to me....

Miss Mari - I haven't even started the Bella gloves yet! They are next on my list though! :)
