try, try again.

i would love to make this blogging thing stick...  i've written countless posts in my head over the last few months, but have not made the time to actually sit down and make it happen.   part of the reason, i think, is because our current photo situation is a bit of a disaster.  we need a new computer, we're running out of space, we never download from our camera, we use our phones so much for photos now, etc. etc.  but i have been thinking, right now we live in such an amazing city.  i don't know how long we'll be here and i want to document our experience.  if for nothing else, to show my offspring someday in the far future, that we were (sort of) cool for a minute.
