Camping!

Ok, time to update the blog...

Cheryl and I decided to organize a camping trip to the beach. We decided to camp at my favorite campground, Wright's for Camping, in Cannon Beach. Lee & Lisa came up from Waldport, and Jason & Sarah joined us, too. At the last minute, Bruce and Cameron decided to come - they had to leave Jess home, though, because she had to work. It was Cameron's first time camping, and I think he had a blast! We all brought our bikes (except Bruce rented one in town) and we rode down through town and on the beach. It was overcast, but warm, so we had a great time!

Great exercise, playing football on the beach. Lee was the quarterback for both teams, although I think he was partial to the other team! Ha!

Dave & Cheryl getting cozy around the campfire. It was so great to spend time with our friends that we don't get to see often! It was always a treat to see the Plews when we went back to Michigan, but it is so fun having them out here now! We decided to make this an annual camping trip - the best time, right after Memorial Day weekend, when the crowds have already gone home!
