Jon had the opportunity to go down to Palm Desert and do a painting job for some friends that have a house down there. So, I took the opportunity to go and visit for a weekend! It was the perfect mini-vacation to get at least a little bit of sun! It's been SO cold here in Portland.
Jon and I went to Joshua Tree National Park to hike around and see what there was to see. It was an interesting place... a different kind of beauty that I'm not used to. And it was a lot colder than I expected it to be!

Isn't Joshua Tree such an unusual place?! Funny trees and when we were there it was freezing! Glad you had fun down there!
